A Documentary About Paul Walker Has Been Confirmed For Production

The life and tragic death of Paul Walker is set to be explored in a new documentary. TV channel Paramount Network has teamed up with filmaker Derik Murray - a man behind multiple biographical documentaries - to make ‘I Am Paul Walker.’

At this early stage we don’t have a whole lot of information to go on, but we do know that Adrian Buitenhuis - whose credits include documentaries ‘I Am Heath Ledger’ and ‘I Am Sam Kinison’ - will serve as director for the project. Paramount Network has also said that the film will include Interviews from “most cherished cast-mates and friends who knew him best.”

Perhaps the most interesting part of the announcement is the channel’s pledge to “showcase a side of Paul few knew.” They’re talking primarily about the Fast and Furious star’s passion for marine biology, and his charitable efforts following the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti in 2010. His passion for cars will no doubt feature heavily too.

We won’t have long to wait before the one-off programme airs - it’ll make its debut this summer. Will you be watching?

Many people only gave him respect AFTER he died. He always was my favorite in the fast and furious franchise and I watched his other movies as well. Fast 7 was the only movie I saw day one and I’ll never forget. I’m not here to brag about myself. I just want to say that I miss Paul walker because I felt like I could relate to him. Still watch all the old f&f’s every so often. Rest peacefully.

I think that most people appreciate the work of certain actor/artist after his death. Yeah, there will be hardcore fans, but its sad to hear that such people get most famous after passed awey, but I guess this how life works. After all he will be always in our hearts, and we will all agree that big part of us are car guys thanks to him, and his movies. I was car guy before watching his movie, but I fell in love when I first saw F&F 1, it was about cars, and the friendship that you build aroud the cars. I hope that will be a good documentary. Have a gread day every one !
