The Danish Speed Freaks At Zenvo Have Built A 1174bhp 10th Birthday Present For Themselves
A 5.8-litre twin-supercharged V8 supercar is a damn fine way to celebrate your birthday, don’t you think?
Danish barnstormer Zenvo has released pictures of its shockingly powerful TS1 GT ahead of the car’s full debut at Geneva tomorrow. Strapping a pair of superchargers to the already pretty fierce V8 has bumped power to 1147bhp at 7700rpm. Yes, really.
Top top speed has been limited to 233mph, presumably because it might go supernova if it goes any faster than that. Or bits might start falling off. Either way. The 0-62mph benchmark is smacked over the head with a big club in 2.8 seconds.
The engine is so violent, the firm is claiming, that they had to build an entirely new seven-speed automatic gearbox to handle it, with shift speeds allegedly ‘not far off’ F1 standards.
Despite all the strengthening beams and the sheer mass of the drivetrain, lightweight thinking everywhere else has kept the dry weight to a respectable 1580kg.
Even more alarming than the engine could be the price. It hasn’t been revealed yet, but Zenvo says that the interior switches are forged from copper and rhodium, and on their own cost as much as much as a Porsche 911 R. Just think about that for a second and absorb the full scale of the madness…

They’re going to have to rent all of Europe to test this car’s real top speed, if they’re brave enough to remove the limiter!

Most of peoples on ct loves Top Gear but you don’t know the version of Zenvo in the story of the track fire… They abused for more than 2 hours drifting the car on the track without five minutes of pause … So some components of the car broke or the engine was so overheated it took fire … But after two hours this don’t looks to me so impossible … A lots of cars gets broke on TG track and an m3 was sold after the track test and the owner said his car was undrivable and then he discovered the car was a TG test car … So they destroy every car they try on track … But just to destroy the name of zenvo they said the car took fire … And the same thing occoured with the caparo T1 … I’m not a fan of top gear.. They don’t know a fk bout cars …They are only overhyped by teenagers that loves the stupid st clarkson says about beautiful cars

So, they build switches out of super expensive materials to save weight, but build the rest of the car like a Lada?
