Recently, motoring journalist and Jalopnik columnist Freddy ‘Tavarish’ Hernandez got his hands on the V8 Vantage owned and run by a certain Doug DeMuro. It chucked out some hilariously expensive bills during Doug’s ownership, and it looks to be doing the same with Tavarish, as seen by this windscreen repair bill, which weighed in well over $4000. Cripes.
Thank god it was covered under insurance…

4000 for a Aston Windshield doens’t seam that bad to me if i didn’t have a friend with a Body Shop the replacement of my Cherokee’s Windshield would have cost me close to 2200 Swiss Francs (that 1900 Euros)
Remember, this is DeMuro’s Vantage. So I completely expected this.
Mine was €1200 on a 2011 Mazda 6 sport so I don’t think that’s too steep!
In the US a windshield for a new BMW X5 is over 3000 dollars my mom cracked her screen a while back
4000? That’s not bad at all. My Audi is probably just as expensive lol
Might have saved a bit if you asked for a price before leaving it into get fixed. But that was a ridiculous price
