'Confused' Prius Driver Gets Stranded After Trying To Drive Down Steps In London
Of all the cars to get caught attempting to drive down a set of stone steps near one of London's main railway stations, it just had to be a Prius
You’re looking at the aftermath of a “confused” man’s attempt to make his way around London by trying to drive down a set of steps near Liverpool Street Station. And yes, it is a Toyota Prius, because what else would it be?
The black-painted eco-warrier became stranded over the weekend after its driver – who the police probably breath-tested twice just to be sure – lost his way. After being cautioned for driving without due care and attention, he’s going to have to watch his step in future.
But Twitter hit the stairway to heaven, with countless tweets and pictures of the Prius doing the rounds on the social network. It took 12 hours before the car was recovered, but it might take a lot longer to heal the driver’s pride.
