Chrysler 200 Exterior Gets Further Reveal
When a new product is highly important, the automaker introducing it wants to make sure everyone knows about it.
That includes getting maximum coverage, by having a slow drip of information and pictures spread out over a long period of time.

Aston Martin tortured us with the One-77 introduction and Ford took it to the extreme with almost daily sneak peaks of the Explorer on Facebook.
With Chrysler, the information drop on its 200 mid-size sedan has been slow, but the exterior finally gets a full review today.
The 200's exterior has clearly received a significant freshening versus the Sebring, with new elements that aim to exude quality and attention to detail. Given that the 200 is very much a mid-cycle enhancement (MCE) of the Sebring, there are still clear elements that remain from that car.
Overall shape and size, as well as certain points like the greenhouse, are elements that can't be changed. That will have to wait until the car's next-generation. Whether or not that will affect the car's performance in the marketplace is yet to be seen.
The real thing we are waiting to see is the car's interior. The new 200 should offer the best example yet of how Chrysler has progressed. The company reportedly put much effort into the car's interior.
Of course, that is the one thing they aren't showing us right now. That will have to wait until later, along with final specifications on the car's engines.
Two engines will be available - a 2.4-liter four-cylinder or 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 combined with either a four-speed or six-speed automatic (depending on trim level). Now, show us the interior already Chrysler!
