From Chevrolet Corvettes to Dodge Vipers, there are all kinds of amazing American performance cars we’ve been denied in our British Isles over the years. At the top of the tree of forbidden fruit for me right now is the Camaro ZL1 - I’m desperate to drive one even though my geographical ‘disadvantage’ makes getting behind the wheel rather difficult.
This new video from Motor Trend - which sees resident pro driver Randy Pobst put in a time that puts a few supercars to shame - does not help one bit. Thanks guys…

True, ford has been and still is my car of choice, I have to admit that ZL1 is an incredible machine
I don’t think this car can be considered a muscle car any more. It’s more of a super-coupe, perhaps like an M6, RS7 or E63 but with less luxury and more performance.
Performance does not make or break a muscle car. All it needs to be a muscle are 4 seats, 2 doors (minus the Charger), RWD, V8, and American.
In america, c5 and c6 corvettes can be found under 15 grand

GM got it RIGHT . Eliminate all weak links. Build to a “new highest” standard. Plus, continue to refine. Numbers do not lie. New BANG-FOR-BUCK BigDog in town. Time for ALL of the big dollars posers to pick up their game. nufsed
