Fortunately, it looks like the driver was uninjured in the crash. The accident happened in New Paltz, New York, during a cruise organised by the NY ST club. According to the uploader, the organisation operates a zero tolerance policy toward dangerous driving, and the RS pilot responsible “was immediately booted from our club”.

This isn’t the first Drift Mode crash we’ve seen, and I fear it won’t be the last…

Casual reminder that the “Drift mode” button is for the car, not the driver.

That New Paltz hairpin isn’t anything to mess with, I go rock climbing up in new Paltz and have seen my fair share of mess-ups on that turn, its claimed the life of quite a few cars… That sucks though, that car had its full life ahead of it, sorry for the loss.

wasnt there a crowd of ants or something on the wall? i mean its kinda like baby mustang so maybe it preys on something smaller than humans? But imo the title is wrong, drift mode didnt failed, driver did….
