The Alfa Romeo Giulia QV Will Do 200mph

An Italian media outlet is reporting that the hottest version of Alfa's new saloon hit 321kmh during a test at the Nardo Ring
The Alfa Romeo Giulia QV Will Do 200mph

When the Alfa Romeo Giulia landed last month, the Italian company proudly stated that the BMW M3-fighting QV model would crack 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds. There was no mention of top speed, however, so the 503bhp Giulia’s top whack has remained unknown. Until now.

According to al Volante, during a test at Italy’s Nardo Ring, the car hit an astonishing 321kmh, or 199.46mph. Following the Nardo test, a camouflaged Giulia has been spotted driving in the vicinity of the Nurburgring (below).

Sure, top speeds aren’t the most useful of performance figures in the real world - unless you do early morning derestricted autobahn runs on a regular basis - but if the Giulia isn’t given an electronic speed limit, it’ll have ultimate bragging rights. After all, most of its rivals are electronically pegged at a mere 155mph.
