The 4500hp Devel Sixteen Is One Step Closer To Reality

After a dyno test reportedly proved that the Devel's crazy V16 makes 4500 horsepower, the car has surfaced at the Dubai Motor Show with radically redesigned bodywork

Remember the Devel Sixteen monstrosity? The one that looked like it was made out of cardboard for a school project? Well, it’s back, and it’s angry.

It has made another appearance with massively modified bodywork at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show. The insane-sounding quad-turbo 12.3-litre V16, which hauls out over 4500 horses according to this dyno test, is still an option at the top of the range for people who’d like to die on a racetrack, but there are less silly versions, too.

Whereas the V16, at the crudest point of inception, is two V8s locked together, there are 2000-horsepower and 3000-horsepower versions of just one of the V8s. Yep, the entry-level Devel Sixteen (would it be called the Devel Eight?) has the power of two Bugatti Veyrons. Two.

All that power will take the 16-cylinder car to 310mph or more, we’re led to believe. As always, we’ll believe it when we see it. We can imagine that speed like that will make judging your braking points on track slightly trickier than usual…

Cornering might be awkward, too. It seems to lack crucial downforce at the back, even if it has ground-effect. If an old Koenigsegg CCX without a rear wing will spit The Stig off the Top Gear Track, a 4500-pony hypercar cobbled together in Dubai certainly will. At much, much higher speed.

Somehow the interior of the car is still under development. Devel doesn’t yet seem to be run with the kind of ruthless efficiency you find in most car makers. The interior looks surprisingly spacious at the moment, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The Devel may make all the power, but it’s still got everything to prove.

Koenigsegg has a lot to watch out for. About 5000 to watch out for. That v16 Devel is not a car, it’s a locomotive! All aboard!!!

The Devel 60 looks like a law enforcement vehicle from Robocop and the 600 looks like the Batmobile!

People often say supercars are useless, but this is the ultimate point. Even 2000 hp is just too much, let alone two times that. This isn’t made for actually being used, rather than to show that they can do it.

This is the most useless thing I’ve seen in the car world. Designed to accomplish a goal almost impossible to reach in real life, and truly unusable the rest of the time. This shouldn’t be a road legal car, rather a prototype.

Agree, also don’t forget that with a huge engine like this, it will need chassis reinforcements( Just remember the FORD GT90,Engine half as big as this one, same amount of turbos , 4 cylinders less and it was close to be melt down),so it will be extremely heavy, pushing back its accelration and increasing understeer, also , it will need very, very, very grippy tires to handle such power and fully transfer it to the road,it’s still a great achivement though, but when and where will we be able to use this thing’s full potential?it’s like a much stronger version of the SRT Demon or the Veyron, a car that is meant to only dominate in straight lines.

Not allowed to drink?

Did you just assume my nationality?
And yes I have opinions, so do you, and by the petronazing and aggressive way you commenting I can say you sound like a 12yo

You forgot the reply button. Oh, and aggressively saying he sound’s like he is 12 because he is aggressive is hypocritical. Your spelling and grammar aren’t helping either. I would recommend reviewing your comment and using the reply button before you continue your argument.

Computer games are beginning to have a growing popularity among children every year. The increasingly addictive effect of computer games prompts parents to worry about the negative effects of games on children. In the friv</a> game site, children are playing games, as well as mathematical games that will help their lessons alongside games. These games contribute to children’s intelligent development.
It is useful to know the best-selling game throughout the history of the game before going into depth. Mario is one of the best-selling computer games and has sold over 210 million units worldwide. friv 2 mario character has been in more than 200 votes.
Today two-thirds of the American population is playing computer games. These games first appeared in the 1970s and became a source of fun and learning for both children and adults. Nintendo, PlayStation, or Wii games can be found in categories such as action, adventure, sports, entertainment, adult and education.
Since the design of computer games, a comprehensive research has been launched on the effects of these games on children. These studies have revealed that the games have both good and bad effects, that the children change their gameplay according to their ages and the time they spend on games. Super 4v4 ralli have a positive effect on people. There are also cases where computer games have a positive effect on children.
When playing computer games, children gain problem-solving skills, learn how to work in teams, and the perception becomes clearer. It also helps short-term memory grow. Playing computer games requires faster and more accurate decisions, so that decision-making skills improve.
Hyperactive children are in a hurry and are forced to concentrate on the work they do. They can not use their intelligence because they can not watch the lesson because they can not sit at the beginning of the book.
Attention can be used for the treatment of computer games for anyone who has little difficulty collecting.
It is inconvenient that the only interest of the child is a computer. But it is important for the academic success of the child to use the computer in developing the mind.Do not let children learn violence on a computer, but use your energy to discover something.
This should not be forgotten; Domestic violence is more harmful than violence on the computer.

This doesn’t belong here. This isn’t a free advertising site, it’s a site for car enthusiasts to interact with each other.
