The auto show season is kicking into full gear, and one of the next big shows to come is in Los Angeles. The LA International Auto Show begins in November, and Chevrolet is preparing to launch the new Camaro Convertible at the show.

Aftermarket companies - you have been officially served noticed - your lucrative days selling aftermarket convertibles conversions are over. For Chevy, the LA Auto Show is a great place to launch the new Camaro Convertible. California and specifically the LA market is a big one for sales of soft tops and retractable hard top convertibles.

Even before its introduction, the Camaro Convertible has gotten its price tag and launch date announced. Pricing starts at an even $30,000, including $850 destination charge, for the base V-6 trim level.

It will start hitting dealers not too long after, in February 2011. The Camaro Convertible should provide a boost in interest to the Camaro line, and depending on its success, may keep up a sales rivalry with the Ford Mustang.
