I'm considering doing a 3SGE BEAMS engine for my AE86 when possible. Opinions?
The engine was used in the Toyota Altezza in Japan and they usually cost about $3000 USD for an Altezza front clip (makes it easier since everything I need should be there) and another $1000 to ship it, $600 for the mounting kit, anda whole lot of wiring XD

Why not a probably more accessible 3SGTE from an MR2 mated to a compatible transmission?
Way harder to swap onto AE86 and not very reliable.
Beams 👌 my friend has one in his 86 and its amazing to drive and doesn’t ruin the weight balance
