#FunFact - That time when three drivers set the exact same time in qualifying.

The 1997 European Grand Prix, held at the Circuito Permanente de Jerez will go down in the history books as the race where Jacques Villeneuve won his first and only title after Michael Schumacher retired from the race after trying to take out Villeneuve.
But this wasn’t the only odd thing that happened during that race. In qualifying, Jacques Villeneuve set a 1:21.072, which was enough for provisional pole position, but a couple minutes later his championship rival Michael Schumacher set the exact same lap time.
To make things even more awkward, Heinz-Harald Frentzen also set the exact same time.

Pole position was given to Villeneuve, since he set that lap time first. Schumacher would start second with Frentzen in third.

That’s all for now, have a nice day :)

Actually I know who set the fastest lap it was Villeneuve because he set it first which means the track was colder so he is the fastest
