#mysleeperbuild: Part 2/2 Feat. 1980 Dodge St. Regis

Let’s continue the story, shall we? Just like the last post.

MONTHS AGO…
Joe, the wanted criminal, arrived at a small hut near Ventura. The last time he met a cop is at 2 days ago. His old car, a 1971 Chevrolet Caprice has been wrecked by cops in Las Vegas while he is fleeing for freedom in the west.
He have arrived at the hut by running, and suddenly he found something big and American.

A 1980 Dodge St. Regis. That's it? Nope.

The car is carefully fixed, taken care of and also tuned up while it still looks subtle. This is the car perfect for the criminal like this, subtle, unappealing, yet potent.
The original owner have painted it with a pearlscent white colour, sporting with police package wheels and tyres around it.

He opened the boot. The engine, instead of a puny 180 hp V8, this got some real power in it, thanks to the original owner installed a 426 Hemi V8 in it. The original unit generates 425 hp, this one is supercharged, blueprinted and with the internals modified, making 770 hp in it’s final form.

Behind the black tinted windows, this car is somewhat fully loaded. It’s got a sports steering wheel, custom blue leather interior panels, matching seats and of course, Android Auto-enabled touchscreen display (just because I use Android) were found inside the car.
The automatic transmission, has replaced by a T56 manual with a custom built shifter to make the car goes from zero to 60 in 5.4 seconds.

The criminal knows what he is doing. He then enterned the car by picklocking the doors, then broke the steering lock (Which is not a Disklok ofc. Disklok UK, don’t worry, you’re fine.) and started the car. Luckily, nobody else is there.
Somehow, he found out that the landyacht is equipped with a nitrous system. Who knows then?

While driving the stolen car, Joe knew that the roads leading to the city is full of potholes and random junk.
So, Joe drives carefully, not to ruining this gem. Luckily, with heavy duty suspension, stronger drivetrain and also a more powerful brakes means that the car will stay intact, even at 280 km/h top speed.

Just when he have arrived , he went to met his friend in some hood in the slums.
But while he’s on the parkway, he saw a suspicious VW Arteon (Shirley’s car). He then slowed down, find a exit and fled away.

To be continued...or not.

I see we both enjoy putting unjustifiable amounts of money, parts and work into weird cars. 👍

Can I make a build for Joe too? I think I might have a vehicle that would be suitable for Joe.
