This V10 Powered Jordan F1 Car Could Be Yours For Under £100,000

F1 cars don't come on the market very often, but a 1995 Jordan F1 machine in great condition - and with the engine included - has just hit the market

It’s not often you can consider something that costs £100k a bit of a bargain, but we reckon a retro Formula 1 car at that price is a bit of a steal. The best part of this particular car is that it actually comes with the original V10; usually old F1 cars come as a shell.

This Jordan 195 was raced 13 times during the 1995 season, with a best result of second place for Rubens Barrichello at the Canadian Grand Prix, so it’s got the history to match the price tag.

It is chassis number four, and was raced by Eddie Irvine twice and Barrichello 11 times, after missing the first three races of 1995. The car was previously in Irvine’s personal collection.

It includes a rare Peugeot V10 engine that hasn’t completed any miles at all. The car is almost complete, just requiring a new loom, pneumatic clutch and gearshift system. However, it shouldn’t be too difficult to get the 195 finished and back up and running for the ultimate track day car!

If you’ve got a lot of spare cash and fancy something unique in your garage, this car is advertised on Racecarsdirect for £97,500, and it comes with a spares package including EFI Euro 12 ECU, nose cone, clutch, drive shafts and gearbox spares.
