Is This Crappy 'The Grand Tour' Logo For Real, Or Are Clarkson And May Just Trolling?
Jeremy Clarkson and James May have just tweeted this crappy-looking 'The Grand Tour' logo. Is this for real?

These tweets have just been released by Clarkson and May. As you can see, the logo leaves a lot to be desired, which makes us wonder if it’s actually real. Either way, here it is, so all that’s left for you to do is to give it your rating out of 10!

What exactly is wrong with it?

It looks like you gave a student five minutes to design a logo and this is what they would come up with. The orange GT symbol is something you see everywhere and the font style of the “The Grand Tour” writing is far from original.
It’s pragmatic and it’s going to do the job, but you could expect something better from a show with a budget like this.
I think the main issue is it is orange like the Car Throttle logo
Orange on white results in low contrast. Stripe the letters and it gets even worse. Add tiny font, the same color as the large font, in the spot where one would expect a stripe and it’s eeeven worse. Blow the contrast with small black text inside the mish-mash of orange stripes and you have a very confusing logo to look at.

Really, you think it’s crap? I think it’s fine. It’s simple. How is the Car Throttle logo any better designed than this…?
Because it’s better designed and recognizable without putting “car throttle” with it. Leave “the grand tour” out of gt and no one will know what it is for. Also the font and color looks like something a first year design student came up with.

Nothing wrong with it imo. Although it may look a little outdated and straight outta 2004 but i guess it brings out some nostalgia in some way

I kinda like it, looks retro.
I don’t understand thw problem. The Top Gear logo is just a plain font in a gear.
