Here's What A Car Looks Like After Spending 28 Years At The Bottom Of A River
This poor Nissan Sentra was stolen 28 years ago, and has presumably spent much of that time at the bottom of a river. Watch as its deformed structure is pulled from the water...
Thanks to the ‘Clean River Project’ of Methuen, Massachusetts, this long missing 1986 Nissan Sentra has been recovered from the bottom of the Merrimack River. It’s not in particularly good condition (think ‘needs TLC’ on a Craigslist/eBay advert), as it was stolen way back in 1988, and has presumably spent almost all that time submerged in river water.
What’s interesting is this isn’t an isolated case: the Clean River Project has already recovered six cars from rivers in the area, and has a grant from the Massachusetts Environmental Trust to remove 20 vehicles from local waterways.

Technically without the presence of air, metal cant rust? Like how wood can not rot if compleatly sumberged.
Now we only need a brass car😉
Still better condition than Phil
My dad once totaled a corvette said it was stolen and dropped it into the hudson river
