Here's How The New Toyota Supra Could Look
We’ve seen test mules in action and are fairly sure it’ll take inspiration from the gorgeous FT-1 concept, so if you’ve an active imagination you might already have an idea of how the brand new Toyota Supra might look. The ladies and gents at Car Keys went one step further, and have produced this speculative sketch, taking inspiration from the FT-1, the camouflaged test cars and the GT86. Reckon they’re about on the money, or are you not convinced? Let us know in the comments.
As a reminder, Toyota’s new sports car - which is expected to revive the Supra name - is being jointly developed with BMW, with the Bavarian end of the deal resulting in a successor to the Z4 called ‘Z5’. Judging by recent spy footage, it’ll be powered by a hybrid powertrain with a six-cylinder engine.

I think it certainly looks better than the mule, but I do like the original FT-1 concept. I like the idea, but I agree, hope they don’t go quite this far..

I actually think the mule looks pretty good! As in its general proportions. It seems like a small sports car, not a big GT, which I like. That long hood and fastback are cool as well.

I think i like the toned down version of the FT-1 concept better…
I just hope it looks like this, as the spoiler fits perfectly with the older generation. As the current look according to the above render, looks more like a GT86 than a Supra.

GT86 or Supra? I don’t like this, nothing Supra about it, might as well name it something else, and bring it back later, as this clearly isn’t the time, if this render is right.
