S5 Sportsback vs Cla 45 Amg

Hello Guys I am in the process of buying a car and I want to hear y’all input regarding the new 2019 S5 sportsback or the cla 45 amg 2019.
I have been researching about the cla 45 for over a year now and the more I look into it the less I like it as people complains about the size, the “cheap” interior components, stiff suspension and the tablet-like infotainment system. Even though all of these are true, what concerns me the most is that the CLA is reaching the end of it’s initial platforms cycle and Mercedes is expected to make a re-design on late 2019 and another one possibly in 2022. If I buy the new model next year, most likely it will change considerably the year after. Having said so, the most appealing feature of this car is knowing that you have 381 HP at your disposal with the amazing launch control system that allows you to go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. These numbers are amazing for a 4 cylinder. I have done so much research about so many cars and still I cannot find a car that matches the roar and power this car has considering the size of it. This is a performance car regardless of it’s “entry” level status. Of course, I am not being fooled as I know a “true” amg resides within the C63 or latter models. Anyways, to my standards the cla 45 power suffices and exceeds my expectations. So in summary for the cla 45 the pros are: unmatched performance, styling exterior, AMG status of, hand-made engine, and most powerful engine in the world ( most hp per liter). Cons: small interior, will likely change in a year or so, interior not that appealing. Overall If I buy this car it would be for it’s engine.
The S5 sportsback is another story. I just found out about this sedan 2 weeks ago and I am loving it. Unfortunately, I have mixed feelings as I have been fantasizing with the CLA for over a year. The S5 is s a BIG car in comparison to the CLA, it has an sporty look and the interior, I love it. The S5 is the opposite of the CLA, I love it because of the interior and the prestige package and all the options it has to offer. However, how can it be that Audi only gave 354 hp to this beast? With a V6 engine? I mean, how do you expect me to decrease my expectations from 381 to 354 HP? How can I ignore the fact that this “sport” vehicle does not have a launch start? This is a sport car rather than a performance car. Unfortunately I won’t be able to afford the RS5 which will be well above the $70K mark. Why can’t Mercedes make a slightly bigger car with an astonishing interior as the S5 or how can Audi can’t step up their performance? Everyone agrees that even you if get a lot of power with the Audi’s you don’t feel the full sport experience with the S version unless you demand the car to do so. I understand that Audi prioritizes comfort over performance but I am expecting to get both from a $65,000 car. This is where I need your help. Please give me your thoughts on what car would you choose. I know I am writing on an Audi forum so I know the expected answer but as car enthusiasts I hope to get honest and professional feedback that would help me make a decision. My budget is $67,000 including fees and taxes. The reason I am going over these cars is because I want to buy the most equipped version of their respective line. I prefer to have a top of the line car than a base model. V8’s are out of the picture and preferentially I would like to have a V4 . I really appreciate your help.
