but whats the point of 3 electric motors that produce just 70+ hp?i mean yeah cool new technology but they added significant weight for little amount of extra hp…
For what I understood, the motors are for the torque vectoring thing in the front wheels (steering aid) and to mitigate the turbo lag improving the throttle response to a level you can feel the car like a NA, I suppose that when you are stuck in traffic and the car is in the most conservative mode is better to have a quiet economic option, there is no much use of 400+ hp in a traffic jam, I don’t know if this is a supercar compared with others but like other people said here, is a cutting edge technology car like the first gen was, I want to know what inspired it’s design, the cockpit of the previous one was inspired in the F-16 jet fighter, maybe this one comes from the F-22 raptor hahahaha
Propping up the 90’s car to godly heights again I see… well at least they tried.
Both NSXs are cars you can drive every day and both sit comfortably between normal sports car and face-ripping-off sports car when compared to their respective peers. Aside from design, I think the two are cut from the same cloth.

The entire point of the NSX was to push the envelope for Honda. That’s exactly what they’ve done
Ahh Motor Trend. They cannot seem to see past the GM/FORD cars/trucks anyway. Most of the time I think their review is solely dependent on which manufacturer paid the most to promote them in a shootout. The original NSX that Senna was part of wasn’t a horsepower monster either, it was all about the handling and pushing the limits of technology for its time. The new NSX does just that. I don’t see why people who praise Teslas which is more controlled by computers diss other manufacturers who are also getting onto the same boat. Atleast the NSX and the GTR has a v6 motor. How long before the next bunch of supercars get all electric powertrain?
