Did last week’s brief testing video not give you a good enough idea of what the new Supra is like? Worry not, as the inevitable Nurburgring test footage has emerged, and as a bonus, its co-developed BMW Z5 has been lapping the Norschleife too.

Is it just us, or are they a tad quiet? It’s not always easy to tell from footage like this, but we can only hope the cars - almost certainly running six-cylinder hybrid powertrains - are subject to a little fiddling in the exhaust department before reaching production.

I have a feeling that the Z5 will look gorgeous.

Cant wait to see what the supra looks like and how different/similar it will look to the older supra’s. It’s been too long.

The perfect engine for these two would be a Twin Turbo High Revving Inline Six.
Something like a fusion between the S54 and the 2JZ.

Sadly, we’ll probably get an S55 Hybrid.

Probably the most heavily disguised test mules. Credit to them - It will look like the FT-1 concept I hope
