Watch This GP2 Race End With A Bizarre 14-Car Pile-Up
Think GP2 racing is the poor, weak little brother of F1? Reckon Monaco’s tight and twisty streets don’t make for exciting races? Think again…
The real winner here is the guy who stalled on the start line, gutted he’d thrown away a decent starting position. With an unscathed car thirty seconds later, stalling definitely looks like the safer option.
GP2 cars and Monte Carlo don’t really get along. Even at last year’s race, two cars didn’t make it round Saint Devote (turn one). The rest of the field waiting until just before Casino Square before they all crashed into each other. Well played, chaps.
Don’t forget, GP2 is the main feeder series for F1, so what you’re watching is the next generation of ‘the world’s best drivers’. F1 could be about to get a lot more interesting.
