Volvo S60 Polestar Concept Vs Audi A3 Clubsport: Which 500hp Saloon Would You Take?

When Audi's 518bhp A3 Clubsport Quattro dropped, we had a feeling of deja vu. You see, the Clubsport is a hugely powerful concept that previews something that's likely to have less poke in production RS3 saloon form; just like the Volvo S60 concept did a few years ago for the less powerful production S60-R.

The Polestar concept also had in excess of 500bhp, but was used to preview the production S60 R-Design Polestar, which has a more modest (yet still quite potent) 329bhp. Both concepts are very quick, the Volvo taking just 3.9 seconds to launch from 0-62mph, while the Audi manages the same in 3.6 seconds. Both will do well over 180mph, and if you want another parallel, well, they're both blue.

If you imagined for a moment that these were road-going cars and not one-off concepts, the question remains: which would you go home with?
