Volvo Introduces Heico Sportiv Limited Edition S60 T6
With the sale of Volvo to Geely completed, the brand is hoping to turn the focus to product once again. No more headlines in the papers and automotive media about sale negotiations - and now Ford has entirely rid itself of any non-core automotive assets.

The S60 mid-size sedan is an integral product for Volvo, and it shows off a new philosophy for the brand. No hardcore sport version is yet available, but Volvo is working with Heico Sportiv to introduce a limited edition sport model.
Hot or not? Definitely hot. The S60 looks brilliant in Black Sapphire and in concert with the tasteful modifications made by Heico.
Par for the course, ride height has been lowered and the suspension fitted with stiffer dampers. There are low profile Pirelli tires diamond cut alloy whees.(On the aftermarket Heico modification, 18- or 20-inch rims are available).
Modifications comprise of a two-piece front spoiler, a rear diffuser (available with carbon fiber inserts) and a spoiler. Interior options are limited to aluminum pedal set, footrest and gear shift knob. There is also a new exhaust system with twin tailpipes at each side.
To back up the looks, power has also been upgraded as well - by 26 horsepower, to a total of 330-horsepower from its T6 engine. That is good enough for a 0-62 mph time of 5.8 seconds. In the interior, changes are small, adding an aluminum gear-knob and pedals.
Heico Sportiv introduced this package as a standalone, but Volvo has worked with the company to make a factory-sanctioned offering sold through the brand's dealer network.
As such, it is a limited edition, with 100 to be sold. Its special edition status is made known by a interior plaque that indicates each car's specific production number and the pricetag.
That'll be €63,968 (about $82K USD at current exchange rates). Ouch! We imagine ordering through Heico, where performance upgrades are available for the 2.0T model as well, would be a lot cheaper.
