VIDEO Roundup: Building the Ford Focus RS500, BMW 1-Series M Teaser

As far as hot hatches go, the special Ford Focus RS500 would have to rank at the top. Introduced at the end of March, it takes the performance-minded RS up a notch further.

Power in the RS500 goes from 305 horsepower to 350 hp, among many other changes. Of course - the United States didn't get it.

Unfortunately, the U.S Focus is a completely different vehicle. That will be changing for the car's next-generation though. As its name implies, only 500 RS500s were made, with the allotment spread across Europe. Below is a video of the car's build process, along with some cool track footage.

An M model of the 1-Series is coming - and faster than perhaps first expected. Many speculated that we wouldn't see an M model until the next-generation of the 1-Series.

Looks like BMW isn't interested in waiting though. We've seen spy shots and heard about such a model for a long time. Now we get even more of a confirmation with this official teaser from BMW. Check it out - and no, it isn't called the M1. Unlike the other "M" models, the car will be referred to as the 1-Series M.
