Trigger Happy Cop Opens Fire On A Minivan Full Of Kids

What starts off as a simple speeding ticket quickly escalates in this shocking video

Much like the New York bikers vs Range Rover driver video we featured recently, no one comes out well here.

In this video, Oriana Ferrell is pulled over after being clocked at 71mph in a 55mph zone near Taos, New Mexico. The police officer has a brief chat with Oriana while her five kids sit in the back of her minivan. As the cop starts walking back to his car to write a ticket, Ferrell decides to drive off.

She's pulled over a second time, and as she refuses to get out of the car, the cop tries to pull her out. She eventually does so willingly, only to try and get back in the minivan.

This doesn't go down well with the officer, and a scuffle ensues in which Oriana's 14-year-old son becomes involved. Both suspects jump back in the car as the officer's backup arrives, and the minivan flees the scene. At this point one officer fires his gun at least three times in their direction.

A four-minute car chase ensues, still with all five kids in the car, until the driver finally gives herself up. To make matters worse, two marijuana pipes were found in the car, meaning Oriana ended up being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on top of five counts of abuse of a child, aggravated fleeing an officer, resisting an officer and reckless driving. The actions of the officers are said to have resulted in an internal investigation.
