Someone Rendered 7 Luxury Vehicles As Tiny City Cars And We Can't Unsee
The Cygnet is a piece of Aston Martin history that Gaydon would probably rather you forgot. In 2011 the company rather cynically re-faced a Toyota iQ, gave it some spangly wheels, festooned the interior in nice leather and had the gall to charge £30,000 and up for the results.
At the time, it was widely reported that Aston Martin was doing this to lower the average CO2 emissions of its range, but Aston didn’t build the car, Toyota did. As we understand it, that means it wouldn’t have been counted in the British company’s figure anyway. So yes, it was just a cash-in.
But what if other brands fancied trying this tactic today? How might a whole generation of luxury city cars look? Thanks to this new set of renders, we get an idea. In reality, they probably wouldn’t be slammed on such massive wheels, but we’ll let that one slide.
Take a look through, and let us know what you think in the comments. Oh, and be warned - you won’t be able to unsee…

Keonsiegg hatchback, for when the Porsche 918 wasn’t enough so now you have to put the golf type R on notice too.
