If it wears out in your car you got the wrong car + clickety sound is satisfying.
And you can do even worse wear if your handbrake start to go down before u release a button (and that’s is quite possible to do when you are in hurry)

When my car got its new brake shoes, the handbrake is hard to pull high but after month or so, it started to soften up, still hold a decent grip but not as efficient as the newly changed shoes. I wonder why..

Thank you for busting this stupid myth. I had the same idea about how it works and everybody went in rage when I pulled the handbrake without pushing the button!

Shots fired at Alex?! 😂 I still would push the button, that sound is horrific.

But atomic kitten made a song called push the button. No you say it’s unnecessary. I’m confused now… what to do, what to do.
