Porsche Cayman Shooting Brake Revealed?

With Porsche's continued drive to increase it's model lineup, there has been a lot of speculation about what is next. Boxster, Cayenne, Panamera - each car got successively harder for Porsche purists to swallow. A 928 GT is rumored to be in the works (which I am 100% in favor of) as well as a Panamera cabriolet. But what about a Cayman shooting brake?

Certainly would make an for a unique entry in the sportscar world today. There has been pictures of the car caught on cell-phone cameras but now there is a new picture of the car in clear view. Real or not? Let's take a look.

A shooting brake is a 2-door, sporty wagon. Might seem like an oxymoron -  but it doesn't have to be. It's primarily a European creation and in the past few years we've heard rumblings of a comeback. Its likely we'll see it surface again in the near future from Bentley, which (ironically) will be under the same roof as Porsche now.

From a design standpoint, the design is very cool - it really fits in well with the standard Cayman's styling. I think it looks exotic. So in that respect I like it a lot. But, is it real? Wel, for starters this picture has been "leaked" though an unnamed Flickr account. Secondly, the consistency of the paint and and a few other details make it seem like a rendering to me.

So in my opinion at least, it's definitely not an image of an actual vehicle. It's either (1) a very good but not official look at a Cayman shooting brake, (2) Porsche leak to test reaction or (3) an unintentional leak of an official Porsche rendering. What do you guys think?
