A few months ago, a feature being filmed for Top Gear ended in a huge fire. Chris Harris and Eddie Jordan fortunately escaped uninjured after the Alpine A110 they were using to take on a stage of the Monte Carlo rally went up in flames, and now, we get to see exactly what happened.

The segment will be part of the sixth and final episode of Top Gear’s 25th series, which will air in the UK on Sunday night. There’ll also be SUV/horse-based shenanigans with an Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Range Rover Velar and Volvo XC60, while back at the studio, comedian Jason Manford will have his turn in the Reasonably Fast Car.

What have you thought of the series so far?

Horse shenanigans with an Alfa-Romeo Stelvio and a Range Rover Velar? Sounds familiar…

Fantastic finale to what I thought was one of the best ever series.
Watched the episode last night, I found the Alpine fire terrifying when Chris said it was caused by a fuel leak - I recently bought a used car, that turns out to be a dud for many reasons including having a leaking petrol tank :(
