Look at a Retro 6-Series: RZ-M6

I'm a big fan of Racer X Design's renderings. They've completed some designs that have actually been built, in addition to looks at potential future vehicles like the Bugatti Type 12 Streamliner I've used in previous articles as an example of a future Bugatti sedan.

I'm a big fan of Racer X Design's renderings. They've completed some designs that have actually been built, in addition to looks at potential future vehicles like the Bugatti Type 12 Streamliner I've used in previous articles as an example of a future Bugatti sedan. Apparently I missed their latest design that come out back in January, so thought it might be interesting to cover it.

Now,  Racer X Designs have come out with their unique take on a new style of BMW 6-series that could be based on the existing model. While I highly doubt BMW would be inclined to take a road like this for production, it's style certainly is  something to think about in terms of a possible high-end model for the brand in the future. Much like Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing.

The styling is reminiscent of the styling of earlier BMW 6-Series' like the E24 and other two-door coupes like the 3.0 CS line. Not bad models to take your inspiration from at all. Apparently after digging further, Racer X Design would like to bring the RZ-M6 to market as a coachbuilt vehicle.

Not a huge amount of changes are required to transform the vehicle into what it is, and I'm sure they could find a market from BMW fans who would like to own the modern 6-series with a more classic BMW style look. I would recommend to Racer X Design that it offer both sports and models that are closer to the classic, stock style of the older BMWs. Would finder a wider audience that way; sports and classic looks.

Racer X is looking for partners to bring the RX-M6 to market. Some of their designs have been made by individual people who produced a one-off vehicle of their design. The RZ-M6 would be the first coachbuilt production vehicle from the company.

Very cool, I hope they can find who they need to get this production. Might them get better recognized as well, enabling them to produce more of their designs. Racer X Designs clearly has a lot of talent!
