How These Drivers Emerged Unhurt From This Huge Nascar Crash Is A Miracle
Both Ryan Newman and Michael McDowell emerged unscathed from this huge crash at Watkins Glen during Sunday's Nascar Sprint Cup race
After colliding with Greg Biffle on the exit of turn five, Ryan Newman spun and hit the barrier heavily on lap 57 of Sunday’s Nascar Sprint Cup race at Watkins Glen. He rebounded across the circuit and collected Michael McDowell, who was catapulted into the wall.
McDowell’s contact with the outside barrier knocked out a section of the guardrail and caused an extended red flag period while it was repaired. Fortunately both drivers emerged uninjured.
