This Hilarious Music Video Will Be Bigger Than Gangnam Style
Gangnam Style was the most popular video on YouTube last year. It smashed through the 1 billion views mark, which didn't only benefit Korean star Psy, but also Mercedes, which featured its SLK in the video.
But news has just reached us in the UK of another music video that might just see the same success. Originally launched in August - we must have been asleep at the time - Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' music video isn't only epic for its randome scenes, pink suits and onesies, it's also awesome because of this DeLorean.
Now unless you've never seen Back to the Future, here's what the DMC-12 is all about. Manufactured in Northern Ireland, this stainless steel masterpiece used a 150bhp V6 engine developed by Peugeot, Renault and Volvo. It used the chassis and suspension of a Lotus Espirt, borrowed its front brakes from a Ford Cortina, rear stoppers from a Jaguar and featured the Mercedes SLS's trademark gullwing doors. In short, the DeLorean was a car made of many bits. And made very badly.
The good news is that you can buy a shiny new one. A Texan company currently produces 20 per year, with plans for a 200bhp electric version in the pipeline.
Now we're all up to speed, don your onesies and check out YouTube's next killer hit:
