Fisker Announces Public Drive of Karma
I love to see people accomplish their dreams - and it looks like Fisker is doing just that. Henrik Fisker and his company is continuing to move forward on schedule with the launch of the Karma range-extended electric-vehicle.
I love to see people accomplish their dreams - and it looks like Fisker is doing just that. Henrik Fisker and his company is continuing to move forward on schedule with the launch of the Karma range-extended electric-vehicle. If all goes to plan, the Karma will be the first luxury vehicle of it's kind on the road.
Other than in Fisker's commercial that displayed the Karma in motion, we've yet to see the car driving on the road. It looks like that is about to change though.
How? Well a lot of automotive events are going on in Monterey, California next month. One of those is the Historic Automobile Races in California. The races are part of the car themed Monterey Weekend, where 3 car events are taking place. Concorso Italiano kicks it off on the 14th, followed by the Monterey Historic Automobile Races on the 15th and culminating with the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on the 16th.
The Karma and it's counterpart the Karma Sunset Convertible concept will be making appearances at all three. But perhaps the most important for the Karma will be at the Historic Races. There the Karma is expected to complete two laps at the Laguna Seca track. Fisker is staging the appearance to build buzz about the car and to show off the vehicle in action on a track. I'm sure we'll see some pictures and probably video footage of the drive - for car fans these events should make for an exciting weekend!
