Ferrari California Gets Tuned by Novitec
We know the Ferrari California doesn't get much love in the automotive blogosphere for its styling, but we still love it. First of all, its a Ferrari, how can you not?

Second, the name is great (in this writer's opinion, anyway). Novitec thinks so too, giving us even more to love from the California with its new tuning package for it.
For starters, the performance is boosted - literally. The 4.3-liter V-8 in the California gets a 166-horsepower bump through supercharging. Torque grows by 93 pound feet to 445 lb-feet, from 358. Those changes are good for a top speed of 202 mph and a 0-60 time of 3.8 seconds (!).
There is a water-to-air intercooler, bigger fuel injectors, new intake manifold, and a Novitec mechanism on the exhaust system that allows a customer to change the exhaust note depending on how they like it at certain times. Now that is pretty cool.
There is an upgraded suspension setup for that lowers car by 35 millimeters, equipped with a button-operated hydraulic lift system that can raise the front end by as much as 40 mm if needed.
Of course, such a package wouldn't be complete without some exterior changes to boot. They include new rims and some optional carbon fiber pieces like a chin spoiler, rocker panels, and a rear lip spoiler and diffuser. No word on pricing yet, but expect it to be a pretty penny.
