I soaked mine in diesel, overnight. Came out great. If you set fire to your manifold, you have to watch the temps. Too hot, and the thing won’t bolt back to your engine…

I normally just soak them in kerosene, but lighting it up looks more fun. I’ll remember that next time, thanks car throttle!
