Car Cameo: Coverdrive & Dappy ft. Citroen DS3
Amanda Reifer. That's a name to remember lads if you fancy 'getting to know' the lead singer of Barbados' latest export, Cover Drive. For their new music video, they needed a car that would grab the eyes of the viewer just as much as Miss Reifer does.
Amanda Reifer. That's a name to remember lads if you fancy 'getting to know' the lead singer of Barbados' latest export, Cover Drive. For their new music video, they needed a car that would grab the eyes of the viewer just as much as Miss Reifer does. What better vehicle to get down in than Citroen's premium and most popular model to date, the DS3.
It's not the first time that a DS has been in a UK top 40 music video. Pixie Lott had the even hotter DS3 Racing in her video for 'What Do You Take Me For?' and The Saturdays needed the bigger but just as attractive DS4 to get them to the diner in the video for '30 Days'. Sexy cars plus hot girls is a sure-fire way to get some good exposure. One for the marketing handbooks surely?
'Explode' features the wooly hat wearing, N-Dubz member Dappy and is the fourth single from the album 'Bajan Style'. The single is available to put on your phone, music player or car stereo from 8th September.
As for the DS3, well that's been out since 2009, but if you want one new, prices start at £12,850. But since it has been out for three years now, you could get one cheaper on the nearly new market if you wish. For anyone that would like one exactly the same as the DS3 in the video, it is finished in Polar White with a Fuchsia roof and wing mirrors plus it has slick 17-inch Bellone black alloys.
Check out both the behind the scenes clip and the video itself below, and if you happen to recognise some of the locations, it's because it was filmed in East London. Na-na-nice!
