Car Cameo: Calvin Harris & Example Car Chase In Super Classics

A new music video featuring a full car chase! Thankyou Lord, our prayers have been answered. It gets even better because in order for Calvin Harris and Example to look even cooler than they already are in this clip, they didn't want brand new 6-figure whips. They wanted cars from the good ole days.

Calvin Harris' weapon of choice was Ferrari's Berlinetta Boxer. Only 2,323 of these mid-engined flat-12 beauties were built between 1973 and 1984 and guess what? Yep, Calvin horrified the owners by breaking the ignition key according to an interview with Example with the Daily Star.

Example himself originally had borrowed a silver Porsche 911 but he had to give that back to the owner after he broke the gearbox. He told the Daily Star, "We were in the bad books". Fortunately, he managed to get a second 911 from the 60's and was more careful with that one. Don't expect these two to have classic cars in their next videos.

Once they got the cars sorted, they went to Los Angeles to film the video over two days. It opens with Example's 911 looking like it's about to hit Calvin Harris square in the face but they are actually running away from the female cop on a bike who found their stolen goods in the sand.
