With the BMW M3's 25th anniversary upon us, BMW created a special edition model dubbed Frozen Gray to commemorate the occasion. Today, June 21st, 2010 is the first day the car was made available - and it is already sold out.

If you want one, you're out of luck. The car was sold out in just 12 minutes. Previously, the amount of Frozen Gray special edition models wasn't made announced by BMW. Today we found out that only 30 were allotted. That's a curious number - we were expecting 25 or something, one for each year.

The 30 lucky owners who forked out $77,600 (for some, a small price price to pay for the exclusivity) will each get a one-day trip to the BMW Performance Driving School in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The car is set apart from more plebian M3s by the unique Frozen Gray color and special 19-inch wheels.

Inside, there is Fox Red and black two-tone Novillo leather. Beyond that, the car's 414-horsepower 4.0-liter V-8 engine remains the same, driven though BMW's dual-clutch gearbox. Now just bring us over the GTS, BMW!
