Throughout its long history, the Shelby name has been synonymous with the Ford Mustang. Half a century after the first car hit the streets, the fastest Shelby GT in history is going through final testing ahead of first deliveries in the second quarter of 2015.

The exterior has also received a going over, with carbonfibre aerodynamic components fitted, as well as a carbonfibre bonnet.
