Takes some real skill to drive these beasts at such high speeds, 24/7 concentration on endurance races takes a toll on you too i bet.

I wonder why are the LMP1 and GT2 cars in the same track? Seems to me that the GT2 cars are much slower than the LMP1’s and seems to be a nuisance/traffic for the faster category. So why? :/

Big grids with racing all the way down. LMP1H are far too expensive for anyone other than large factory outfits to run, hence the ACO and FIA looking at ways to reduce costs and get more teams involved. It’s the same cycle motorsport has always, and probably will always follow. But anyway Endurance racing has almost always been about varied grids. It was only really group 6 and group C that tended to separate them

Really hope F1 will die a quick painless death ASAP and this will take it’s place as reigning motorsport class. It’s well overdue. And F1 already developed a nasty limp. Needs to be put out of its misery.
