Remember the ridiculous 1000bhp Mk1 Golf we featured six months ago? The guys at Boba Motoring in Germany are at it again with this 1150bhp AWD Mk2 Golf.
It has a 2.0-litre 16V engine under the hood with a massive GTX42R turbo attached. The best thing about this car? It's as close to a sleeper as a car with that much power can be. The interior is totally stock, so your backside is perfectly comfortable as you reign in the horizon.
This video charts the car's progress as the boost pressure is optimised. With 49psi the wheels spin all the way up to 200kph (124mph), with the AWD switched on. With a little less boost and a new ECU map uploaded, this insane Golf hits the street once more, forcing the speed dial off the gauge.
