It’s a toss up between the 350 V8 and the R34. R35 didn’t sound bad, but a bit on the soft side. I think I would have liked the R34 and the Tuscan inline 6 more if they weren’t decatted. Hard to go wrong with a classic American V8.
The sound was the #1 reason I bought my E60 M5. I really don’t think there’s a better sounding, daily driver-capable car.
