Insurance. I am very salty over the fact that the rates I pay as a male under 25 is double what the rate is for females in the same age bracket. When I got my license at 16, my rates were nearly $300/mo. And 6 years later my bill is still $160/mo. I have full coverage now too, but I drive a near base Mazda3. No accidents, no tickets, never so much as ran a red light, I keep racing to track and specific SCCA meets, in all conditoons, ice rain snow wind over tarmac and gravel, and I have military vehicle licenses and safety courses under my belt too.
Meanwhile, my buddies girlfriend, had an STi, new at the time, since she was 16, and her rate is lower than mine. She has 2 tickets and 1 accident on record too.
Blows my mind.
