Serious question..... What is the benefits of "stance"? I saw a Stanced Subaru Forester today. I get that it let's people express themselves, but does it benefit the car in anyway shape or form??? Feel free to discuss in the comments.

There are benefits to a certain degree, tire stretch makes the sidewalls harder and a slight amount of negative camber is supposed to make the car handle better

Well stance is useless. But lowering and cambering for the right amount will improve your performance. But that ain’t stance really. For me stance is when you lower and camber your car just for looks, not performance

Stance is bad, now the slightest camber, no more than 3-4° will allow for slightly better traction at extreme cornering. Lowering on a car will lower the center of gravity and allow for less body roll, and better stably in cornering as well. But everything has its limits, and those who stance take it to a degree where it is only useful for show. Tire stretching is uselss, a sidewall should be perfectly hard with the proper PSI, traction is reduced, and safety as well when you stretch your tires.
