I´d get a new rim, or get it fixed
You could try with a hammer and a block of wood ;)

If that’s alloy then it’s nowhere near a DIY fix. Steel you can bash back and get rebalanced. Replace that tyre as well, likelihood is some of the internal steel is snapped.

If you do fix it the integrity of the metal will not be the same and id be concerned about a chip or break from the same area next time although im more an engineer than a mechanic

Tap it back gently it will be fine, the most you will get is a leaky seal if its no straight. Could try heating it if its not playing ball.

Rims are damn tough things, they wont just explode because of a dent. You may get a crack and a slow puncher then you need welding or new rim

“Doing it at home” had me giggling quite a bit. I will however leave my comment in my bottom, like you asked :D

This looks like an alloy wheel. I know rims are kind of though, but honestly… Fixing this will not repair the structure of the metal and it will never be ‘balanced’. You will notice at higher speeds and it is a safety issue. I would replace it with a new one, to be honest… But please, at least don’t try at home

You should go to a shop, no way you can fix this yourself!, tehy can tell you what to do, but seems like you need a new rim, I wouldn’t drive around with this, even if you make it straight again

My brother had a similar issue. The tire had a nasty bubble on the outside, the wheel was bend and had a tiny crack.
There is a possibility of repairing the wheel, but it would have needed some serious welding skills and afterwards material testing. Would have been way to expensive.
We got a new wheel and tire, just to be safe.
