Top 10 Most Dangerous Cars

#10. Nissan 180/240 sx

Ok, so many cars are more dangerous than the Nissan a 240sx, but it’s more to do with the people who drive them. Many of their drivers are young, crazy, and have no fear of death. This is a drift car, but should everyone have a drift car? Should some kid high on redbull and adrenaline be allowed behind the wheel? Yes, but I can still laugh!

#9. Peel P50

Ah, loveable little classic that is the Peel P50, the smallest car………..in the world. The same trait that makes this car good, it’s size, also makes it very dangerous if you were to be hit by another car. Honestly, you’re almost better off as a pedestrian, as atleast then you can try and jump out of the way, but in this thing good luck escaping with your head on your body. Good thing this car never caught on, because so many young people would die trying to look like Jeremy Clarkson.

#8. Porsche 930 (911 turbo)

They don’t call this car a widow-maker for nothing. The reason this car is so dangerous is that it is rear engined, had lots of turbo power with unpredictable lag, and no traction control in a rear wheel drive car with tires unbeffiting such a beast of a car. This would be higher up, but it is a tamale beast, and a good driver could learn to survive unscathed. Amateurs though, beware of this beast and proceed with caution as you would any rear engined rear wheel drive car.

#7. Ford Explorer w/Firestone tires

The Ford Explorer is, at first glance, a pretty normal sporty family SUV. The reason this car is dangerous is rooted in two things, bad tires and poor stability. For many years Ford had an exclusive partnership with Firestone tires, to supply tires for their new cars. Everything was well, until the Ford Explorer, a hit for Ford, but what would be the end of the Ford and Firestone partnership. Even with defective tires, the cars over instability was still Ford’s fault, the first of their many appearances on this list….

#6. Suzuki Samurai

The Suzuki Samurai is a neat little 4x4, something you might have even bought your kid, back in the day. The reason that this car is dangerous is not yo do with it being an overpowered beast, but that it has terrible handling and can even flip over. In tests it was shown that with little effort it could be flipped over. In its defence, however, the next car is a tad bit more eager to flip…..

#5. Reliant Robin

Yes, the classic three wheeler, how I wish I could have one in the US. If any of you haven’t watched the top gear episode on the Robin, then go check it out asap. These thing were on a three wheeled design, and were very light, creating the flipping problem. What made it worse was crap suspension, and high centerback gravity for such a small car. Don’t let it’s calm extierior fool you, this is just as much a death trap as a falling WW2 bomber with one engine over the beach of Normandy.

#4. Dodge Viper

If I told you V10, front engine, coupe, rwd, and no electronic aids, the first thing that comes to mind is “whoever drives that has balls!”. The modern SVT Viper doesn’t really count as it now has traction control and is a lot safer, but the old beast is something we will never see made again! Even the exhaust on the sides could burn you, this car doesn’t mess around! As cool as the burnouts are, you do not want to drive this car on a wet day. Atleast if you die, the V10 will be roaring the whole way.

#3. Ford Pinto

Everyone knows why this car is such a risk to drive. The results of poor planning, and a rushed product would result with blood on Ford’s hands, who determined it would simply be cheaper to pay off families of people who died due the burning of the Pinto’s poorly placed gas tank, that would be puncture by the drive train in the rear along with sparks to start a fire. Ultimately, this car would go down as a failure gor Ford, but also a lesson they would not soon forget.

#2. Ford Nucleon (Nuclear Concept)

Okay, maybe this shouldn’t count as it was only a concept, but it’s just too good! It all sounds great at first, no refueling, nicely design car, lots of power, but then you realism that you are driving a nuclear reactor. All it takes is one accident, or system failure, and you have to call in some serious clean up crew. Just imagine them crashing into each other! That could lead to part of a city being uninhabitable for years! It’s a good idea in a world without accidents and malfunctions, but from day one this must have seemed impossible as a gasoline alternative.

#1. Ford "murderer" Mustang =P

Oh you knew this was coming, you might not have wanted it, but your getting it. The Mustang is out to get you, everyone a Mustang leaves a car meet, it attacks the crowd viscously, killing anyone who claims their Honda can beet them. Mustang is love, Mustang is life. I drew a venn diagram between a serial killer and a Mustang and it was a circle.

But really, the reason why this car can be dangerous is that it is cheap, rwd, a powerfull. This means that guys with no skill try to be cool and do burnouts, but fail miserably, even hitting cars and crowds of people. The memes are endless, and that’s why I chose this, because I am a troll. If you don’t like this post I’ll have my buddy Mustang GT over here do a burnout over your dead corpse. #stopthemustanghate #mustanghateweek

Homorale mentions: the Hoffman, Ford Bronco II, unexpected acceleration Toyotas, Chevy Corvair, TVR Sagaris, Nissan 350z, Yugo, and many more which escape my memory. :)#ctvariety #mustanghateweek #justmustangthings

CZ 69% Muscle

The Reliant Robin doesn’t roll over as depicted in Top Gear.Infact, the whole thing was a joke purposefully created by Top Gear. The tires on the one Clarkson drove were all a different size to induce this insane rolling

I considered it, but I felt like for a post where I just put Mustang at #1 for fun it would be in bad taste. R.I.P. The real car guy in the fast and furious franchise
