This BMW E36 Coupe Has A Nissan Skyline RB25DET Engine And I Want It Badly

Many of you will know that I’m currently looking for a new car to sit alongside my lovable MX-5. I’ve bored many of you to death with pictures of E34 M5s, E24 635 CSIs and E28 M535is. Now, my gaze is focussed on E30s and E36 M3s, which is how I found this unicorn on eBay.

The car’s been built by a mechanical engineer and features a Nissan Skyline RB25DET twin-cam turbo engine with approximately 250hp (the engine’s standard power figure). The engine is mated to a Skyline gearbox.

According to the seller, the JDM-powered E36 is an unfinished project, with a few things left to do until completion. These include replacing the heater matrix, fixing up some body imperfections and sorting the headlining.

As it stands, the car is up for sale for £4500. With the work completed, and with a fresh MOT, this BMW will likely be one hell of a ride!
