Vt Senator Wagons: Specs and info

The HSV Senator Wagon was released in 1997 as a limited edition version. They came with two engines, one being the 304 Holden 5l V8 which cost $69,950 when new. This car had 195kw and 430nm of torque. Only 25 wagons were made with the 304. The second engine was the 5.7l LS1 which made 220kw and 475nm of torque. Only 14 came out with the LS and they cost $83,750 new.

The HSV Senator sedans were based on the Holden Calais however Holden did not have a Calais wagon so a limited number of wagons were fitted with a custom Calais interior. The Senator front was fitted to the wagon along with a custom rear bumper and side skirts. A unique ten spoke wheel was also fitted to the wagons.

The 220kw versions had upgraded HSV brakes however the 195kw versions did not and some say the brakes werent quite up to the job.

Does the Australian government have a jodlb title of Senator? If so, I will be emigrating and perusing that career. So I could be a senator who drives a Senator.
