I think it is more Porsche engineering…although my 72 Super beetle ran like a top for the 11 yrs I had it. And yes, some times i did start it with some string and a good pull

lol what. Ok some models get a cheap low quality version sold in the US so maybe thats why you think it. However the most reliable cars I’ve known are German. Thats why seeing so many Old VW´s Bmw´s Mercedes etc is so normal.
