Oh right, any more and you have no control. You have that beetle layout to thank for that.
Why would you want a bigger slip angle? That would only slow you down in a race.
Besides, these cars are sliding, look how skinny the tires are compared to today’s standards. They’re not slightly beyond their grip level, but actually doing a controlled slide.
